RECORD FAINFALLS DURING PAST FORTNIGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Record rainfalls have been registered in many parts of New South Wales during the past fortnight. Registrations on some parts of the South Coast were more than 4,000 points for the fortnight. Already these rainfalls exceed those of any complete month on record. Registrations extend back more than fifty years. The rainfall has been very heavy in the Sydney metropolitan area, more than a thousand points falling in the past week. The city’s water supplies are at a record level.
