MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL

MR R. E. GORDON LEE RE-ELECTED CHAIRMAN. The chairman, Mr R. E. Gordon Lee, was unanimously re-elected to that office at the annual meeting of the Masterton County Council, held at noon today. In returning thanks for his re-election, Mr Lee said the past year had been a most unusual one through earthquake and flood damage. He thanked councillors for their support. Councillor H. H. Mawley was elected chairman of the finance committee.
