FIRST SNOW OF SEASON
tabap.ua foothills covered. Masterton and district residents awoke this morning to see signs of the first real touch of winter. The foothills of the Tararuas and other hills round the valley, including Rangitumau, were well coated in snow. Temperatures were decidedly cold in consequence. In Masterton itself, rain showers were experienced.
