President Roosevelt has asked Co - gress to make 78,984.990 million dollais available for the Army in the fiscal yeai starting on July 1. The total is 6 000 million dollars more than the Budge Estimate last January. With the pending 29,000 million dollars Navy Bill, the total war services of the Budget will exceed 100,000 million dollars. The President’s Secretary (Mi -• Farlv) said the 6,000 million dollars increase in the Army Budget was chiefly due to aircraft construction.
