The Moscow radio announced on Thursday night that the Vice-Premier and Foreign Minister, M. Molotov, received Mr Joseph Davies, President Roosevelt’s personal envoy. The American Ambassador, Admiral Standley, was present. Mr Davies also conferred with Premier Stalin and handed him a letter from Mr Roosevelt, and they talked at great length.
