CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Matthew’s Church at 8 a.m. tomorrow and at Upper Plain at 9 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will preach at St. Matthew’s at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mr J. F. Jaine will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The usual services will be held in the Baptist Church tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. A friendly hour will follow the evening service, to which visitors and service men are heartily invited. The Masterton Methodist Church services tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. will be conducted by the Rev. George H. Goodman. The service at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. will be taken by Major Dick. The services at Knox Church, Masterton. tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. wll be conducted by Mr D. W. Storkey. Mr Storkey will be supplying at Knox Church during the summer months. Tomorrow’s meetings at the Salvation Army Hall, Lincoln Road, will be conducted by Major and Mrs Stone. Bright singing, melodious music and vigorous talks and testimonies will be given by local Salvationists. The Bible address in the morning will be “The Fighting Spirit,” and at night “The Salvation Spirit.” At 2.15 in the afternoon the young people will hold their meeting. The Army of the open w.ill be at 6 o'clock in Queen Street.
