ALLEGED THEFT (“Times-Age” Special.) Thomas J. Powell and Harvey W. Printer were charged by the police in the Carterton Magistrate’s Court yesterday that, on May 17, at Longbush. they committed the theft of a cord of firewood, to the value of £3, the properly of Alex. Ross. Accused were represented by Mr R. McKenzie, and pleaded not guilty. A remand was asked for, which was granted by the Magistrate, until the next sitting of the court at Carterton on June 16.
