MASTERTON FIRE BOARD
ESTIMATES FOR CURRENT YEAR.
An estimated expenditure for the ensuing year of £4llO was approved at last night’s meeting of the Masterton Fire Board. Of that amount the Government will find £75, the Borough Council £2017 10s, and the insurance companies the balance. Mr D. B. Curry, secretary, stated that the expenditure last year, £4514, exceeded the estimate by £419. That was accounted for by earthquake damage, which totalled £5OO.
