LIME PIT PROPOSAL
VOTE OF RATEPAYERS TO BE TAKEN. The Masterton County Council met ratepayers at Mr C. S. Taylor s residence, “Waireka,” this morning when the meeting decided to put the proposal to establish a lime pit at Abbotsford to a vote by ratepayers of the Uriti Riding. Mr R. E. Gordon Lee, chairman of the Council, presided. After a full discussion during which Mr C. S. Hay protested against the meeting going over the ground that had been covered at the meeting at Langdale, the decision to put the matter to the ratepayers was agreed upon.
