SCOUTS & CUBS

ACTIVITIES OF MO KATOA TROOP. Although there was not a large attendance at the weekly Mo Katoa Scout Troop parade owing to the school holidays the games and scout work were greatly enjoyed. S. Cretney passed the Tenderfoot tests. The inter-patrol competition shield was awarded to the Kiwi Patrol. The marks were: Kiwi Patrol, 72; Karoro, 66; Huia, 64; and Tui, 56 marks. The parade concluded with the dropping of the Union Jack. There was a fair attendance at the usual Mo Katoa Cub parade last Friday. Cub work was carried out and many enjoyable games were played. At the closing of the parade, the Cubmaster. Miss O. Curry, presented sixer D. Olson with his house orderly proficiency badge.
