Y.M.C.A. HELPERS
LADIES’ AUXILIARY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. was held in the rooms yesterday. In the absence of Mrs H. E. Pither, Mrs Bannistex’ presided. A welcome was extended to a new member, Mrs R. McPherson. The secretary was instructed to write to Miss Zeta McPherson thanking hex - for hex' splendid wox'k at the Y.M.C.A. rooms during the past 12 months. Mrs M. Mackay was transferred to the hon members’ list. It was decided to send a letter to Mrs Mac Kay thanking her for her support and help during the number of years she has been a member, A report was given of the Mother and Son social, the function having been a happy one. The next meeting is to be on June 10. The hostesses will be Mesdames Fly, Flaws, Gaze and Hill. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Copp, Diamond, Duckworth and Miss Chapman. A bring and buy stall was held.
