MASTERTON CLUB GAMES
SATURDAY’S COMPETITIONS.
The following are the results of Saturday's competitions played by members of the Masterton Golf Club: Ladies (medal): Mrs R. T. Stewart, 99-28-71; Mrs E. L. Nitz, 96-25-71; Mrs J. E. Jenkins, 100-27 73. Men (Stableford): J. Fritter 37, C. Faulknor 36, G. M. Ross 36, W. H. Saunders 35, J. C. Forsyth 34. H. Bell 33, S. A. Mannering 33. MAHUNGA BOGEY ROUND RESULTS. A bogey round was played by members of the Mahunga Golf Club on Saturday, the results being: A. Welphy 2 up. J. G. McFarlane and D. A. Earp, all square. RIVERSIDE CAPTAIN’S TROPHY PLAY. In the first round of play for the captain’s trophy by members of the Riverside Golf Club, Miss J. Dixon returned a net score of 65 in the ladies’ section and J. Skeet 67 net and W. Gilliland 68 net did best in the men’s section. Winners of stableford competitions were: —First competition, R. Hatch, 37; second competition, R. Wearne, 35.
