WET CANTEENS
PROTEST MADE BY WOMEN’S DIVISION.
At the monthly meeting of the Masterton branch of the Women’s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, members expressed regret concerning the report that wet canteens had been established in the Masterton area, against the expressed voting of its population, and held to the opinion that prohibition should be established in New Zealand as a war measure.
