FLAG 500 PARTY HELD BY SOLDIERS’ COMFORT COMMITTEE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Borough Ladies’ Soldiers Comfort Committee held an enjoyable flag 500' party on Saturday evening. Miss M. Anderson, president, presented prizes to the following: Mrs Cittadine, Dr Simmers, Messrs Carseldene, W. Anderson. Supper was served by the committee. Donations were received from H. Higginson os, Anonymous 10s, Mrs A. Fredrickson 5s and Mrs Toohill 3s. Personal Items. Mrs D. Hart is spending a holiday in Christchurch. Miss June Hancock is visiting Wellington. Mr and Mrs F. Gofton, Wellington, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Wilkie Anderson, “Springrock,” Eketahuna. Mrs W. Olsen is visiting Wellington. Miss Beresford, Wellington, is spending a holiday at “Forest Flat,” Alfrcdton. Nurse Houlbrooke is visiting her mother, Alfredton Road. Mr E. F. Chadwick, Bunnythorpe, paid a visit to Eketahuna last week.
