* BARGES OVERWHELMED IN ROUGH SEAS. ( OFF THE COAST OF WALES. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) 1 LONDON, April 30. i Eighty-one members of the services were £ drowned when two barges were overwhelmed in rough seas off the Welsh coast on April 24. There were only three survivors. A naval boat which put out to rescue, one barge was also overturned, drowning five sailors. Most of the bodies have been recovered, 30 being buried in one grave.
