PERSONAL ITEMS VISITORS TO THE DISTRICT. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr J. Desmond, Fernlea, was the guest of Mr and Mrs H. L. Gray, Papawai, for the Easter holidays. Fireman T. Gray has returned after having represented Greytown at the Fire Brigade Conference at Pahiatua.

Mrs J. Kiernan, East Street, spent Easter in Wellington.

Miss B. Bennett, of Lower Hutt, is at present spending a holiday in Grey--lown and is the guest of Mrs H. L. Gray. Mr C. Williams, of Island Bay, was the guest of Mr and Mrs H. L. Gray during the Easter holidays. L.A.C. G. Marshall and Mrs Marshall, of Wellington, have returned to Wellington after having been the guests of Mr and Mrs G. L. Gee, of Moroa Road.

Mr and Mrs O. Skeet have returned fiom a holiday spent at Amberley. TOWN HALL TWO BIG FEATURES. There will be two big features shown tomorrow night. Bing Crosby, Mary Martin and Brian Donlevy have the leading roles in “The Birth of the Blues,” a brilliant comedy, and in “The Tower of Terror,” a sensational drama, Wilfrid Lawson and Morland Graham portray the chief characters.
