Two more Distinguished Flying Crosses and three more Distinguished Flying M.edals have been won by personnel serving on air operations overseas, according to official advice received by the Air Department. The awards are: D.F.G. to Flying,.. Officer Cecil Roland White Mr C. N. White, Waimana, Bay di Plenty); Pilot Officer William Alexander Irwin (mother, Mrs Irwin, Matamau, via Dannevirke). D.F.M.: Flight Sergeant David Baillie Campbell (mother, Mrs K. Campbell, Dargaville); Sergeant (now Pilot Officer) James Clarence Ralph (mother, Mrs I. Ralph, Auckland);’ Flight Sergeant Albert William Temm (father, Albert Temm, Auckland).
