HOCKEY
WAIRARAPA LADIES SEASON TO OPEN ON SATURDAY. LIST OF FIXTURES. The Wairarapa Ladies’ Hockey Association will open the season on Saturday next when some excellent games should be witnessed as strong teams have been entered for the various grades. The following are the fixtures and referees for next Saturday:— Seniors, Carterton A v. Greytown, at Greytown; referee, Mr L. Gallon. Carterton B v. College, at College at 2.15 p.m.; referees, Misses B. Dixon and W. Nyhan. Kia Ora v. Excelsior, at Lansdowne No. 2, at 2.45 p.m.; referee, Mr J. Moynahan. Juniors. College A v. Excelsior, at Lansdowne No. 2, at 1.30 p.m.; referee, Mr J. Moynahan. Carterton v. College B, at Lansdowne No. 3, at 2.35 p.m.; referee, Mr A. Southey. Sincerity a bye.
