Some details of the sensational radio ranging device “Radars,” with which the approach of enemy ships and aircraft is detectable, have been released by the War Department. The detector utilises ultra-high frequency waves which bounce back when they strike an object measurable from time intervals. The “Radars” operate through fog, darkness and storms.
