SERVICE OF WITNESS

GATHERING IN PARISH HALL. ("Times-Age” Special.) The united service of . witness, held in St. Matthew’s Parish Hall, Maserton, last night, was largely attended. The Ven. Archdeacon E. J. Rich, who presided, said these services had been held regularly in Masterton on Good Friday for 30 years. The addresses for the occasion were given by the Rev. J. Cumming and the Rev. H. Taepa. The Rev. David McNeur gave a scriptural reading and Adjutant Stone and the Rev. G. H. Goodman led the gathering in prayer. A vocal solo “How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings,” was contributed by Mrs Moss. Mr A. Miller Hope was at the organ.
