RAILWAY TRAINS
SERVICE IN WAIRARAPA.
DURING EASTER PERIOD.
Despite the restrictions imposed on train travelling, the Wairarapa district is well catered for in regard to special trains over the Easter holiday period. On Friday the usual passenger services between Wellington and Masterton and Woodville will be maintained and a special passenger train will leave Wellington at 8.55 a.m., arriving in Masterton at 12.39 p.m.
On Saturday a special passenger train will leave Wellington at 8.26 a.m. and arrive in Masterton at 12.1 p.m., while special passenger trains will leave Masterton for Wellington at 4.25 p.m. and 6.10 p.m. On Sunday the usual rail car services will run.
On Monday special passenger trains will leave Wellington at 8.26 a.m. and 4.32 p.m., arriving in Masterton at 12.1 p.m. and 8.25 p.m., while special passenger trains will leave Masterton for Wellington at 12.30 p.m., 4.25 p.m. and 6.10 p.m. Special attention is drawn to the fact that accommodation will not be provided for passengers not holding reserved seat tickets on the usual 2.6 p.m. Masterton- Wellington train. These passengers are advised to travel by the 12.30 p.m. special train.
