FIGURES FOR CURRENT YEAR RECEIPTS & PAYMENTS. t’ DETAILS OF LOCAL BODY LEVIES. Estimates for the year ending March 31, 1944, were approved by the Wairarapa • Hospital Board at its meeting yesterday as follows, the figure of actual receipts or payments last year being given in parentheses: Estimated receipts, £46,771 (£42,639), local bodies’ levies, £32,075 (£33,757), Government subsidy, £26,337 (£33,299); total, £105,184 (£109,967). Estimated payments, £105,184 (£109,967).

A comparative statement gives details of the percentage proportion the respective local body levies bear to the total levies and total revenue. Details are, the amount of the levy being followed in every case by the percentage proportion to the total levy and to the total revenue, the figures for last year being given in parentheses: —
