SOUTH FEATHERSTON
EUCHRE PARTY & DANCE
' COMPETITION WINNERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was only a moderate attendance at the euchre party and dance held in the South Featherston Hall owing to other attractions. Udy’s Orchestra provided the music, extras be 1 - ing played by Mr Hemi. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss F. Atkinson and partner and Mr and Mrs H. Willis. The card winners were: —Ladies: Mrs H. Burt, 1; Mrs Bargh, 2. Men: Mr A. Robertson, 1; Nelson Fairbrother, 2. Presentations were made to Pte. Chalis Clemens, a returned soldier, and to Pte. J. Cross, who is on leave. A cushion donated by Mrs A. Robertson was won by M. Hansen, Carterton. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs Baillie and Miss J. Yule have returned home after having spent a holiday at Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs R. J. Yule have returned home from a visit to Blenheim. Mr R. G. Burt is spending a holiday with Mr A. Y. Burt, Ngawapurua.
