MR G. G. HODGKINS. CHIEF ELECTORAL OFFICER SINCE 1928. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The death occurred early this morning of Mr G. G. Hodgkins, Chief Electoral Officer in New Zealand since 1928, aged 68. He was spending his annual leave at Waiorongomai Station, Featherston, and took ill ten days ago. Born in Dunedin, Mr Hodgkins.was educated at the Otago Boys’ High School. He leaves a wife and two daughters.
