OTHER PEOPLE’S IDEAS

SOLDIER ENTERTAINMENT (To the Editor) ' Sir, —Enjoying the pleasure of seeing an Air Force unit on the march through Masterton yesterday, the thought struck me that what a pity it is that the inhabitants of the Wairarapa cannot see their way to entertain the stalwart New Zealanders in the same manner as they do our gallant Allies.- What an ideal opportunity exists to get some of these lads out of camp for Easter. I appeal to my fellow townsmen and ladies to invite these men out for tea some time and try and do away with this “ignored” sort of feeling that is at present held by the New Zealand service men in Masterton.—l am, etc., “NAUTICUS.” Masterton, April 20.
