MASTERTON POST OFFICE
♦ EASTER ARRANGEMENTS. The following arrangements have been made in connection with hours at the Masterton Post and Telegraph Office during Easter:— Good Friday: The Post Office will be closed in all branches and no mails will be despatched. Postmen’s deliveries will be suspended. Mails for the Tinui district will be despatched -at 1 p.m. on Thursday. The Wangaehu service will be performed on Thursday in lieu of Good Friday. The telegraph office will be closed. The telephone exchange will be open continuously. Easter Saturday: The usual hours will be observed, except that the rationing branches will be closed. Easter Monday: The post office will be closed in all branches and no mails will be despatched. Postmen’s deliveries will be suspended. Mails for Tinui will be despatched at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 24. The Te Wharau, Homewood, Stronvar and Wangaehu services will be performed as usual but the mails close at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 24. The telegraph office will be open from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. The telephone exchange will be open continuously.
