f SATURDAY NIGHT’S DANCE. A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. The St John Ambulance Brigade held anothei’ successful dance in the Masonic Hall on Saturday night. The hall was well filled and the music supplied by Jack Barnes and his Rhythm Boys was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The duties of M.C. were capably carried out by the cadet superintendent, Mr C. S. McQuade. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Kemp and Pte R. Sykes of the U.S. Marines, and a lucky spot fox-trot was won by Miss Spackman and AC2 R. Torwick. Extras were played by Mr W. Raniera and Mr C. Jackson. Mr McQuade, in thanking patrons for their attendance and support of the brigade’s functions, announced that the next dance would be held on Saturday, May 1.
