A pleasing feature of. yesterday’s sales was the very ready manner in which visiting United States service men purchased poppieg on their own initiative. In many instances the poppies were bought by one service man of a party, who handed them round to his companions. The Wairarapa U.S.A, wishes to thank all who assisted with the organisation of the sales, the result of which is considered most Greytown, Featherston and Martinborough all report having sold the whole of their quotas of poppies.
