Women's Prayer Circle.

The Knox Hall, Masterton, was well filled yesterday afternoon, when the Women’s Prayer Circle met. All churches were represented. Miss Martha McGregor led the gathering .in prayer. The next meeting will be held in the Salvation Army Hall. Task Continued to the End.

At the weekly meeting of the Masterton Women’s Patriotic Committee sympathetic reference was made to the recent death of Mrs A. E. Dixon, a valued contributor of knitted woollen comforts for New Zealand soldiers overseas. It was stated that though handicapped by failing health, her task was continued to the end and served as an inspiration to all women in the district who are still engaged in knitting to fill the urgent need for a still greater supply of knitted woollen comforts.
