EXCHANGE OF PRISONERS

ARRANGED WITH ITALY.

Nearly 8000 British and Italian prisoners of war will be exchanged simultaneously at Lisbon and Ankara on Sunday. The British prisoners total 1710 and include 760 wounded, and sick and 950 “protected personnel,” believed to be doctors. The Italians include 2255 incapacitated soldiers, and 4210 protected personnel. Reuter’s Lisbon correspondent reports that the Spanish ship Marques Comirras is expected at Lisbon tomorrow with 104 Germans, who will be exchanged for the same number of British.
