MASTERTON CATTLE FAIR

PRICES FOR STORE BULLOCKS DOWN. SOME EARLY REALISATIONS. At the Masterton Cattle Fair which commenced at the saleyards, Colombo Road, this afternoon, prices for store bullocks were down by 15s to £1 a head for the bigger type of stock compared with the last sale. There was a large and representative attendance but outside buyers operated cautiously. Up to the time of going to press only store cattle had been sold for which prices were: —Two and a half year-old bullocks, £7 15s, £8 to £8 3s; old bullocks, to £8 11s.
