JEEP OVERTURNS

AIR OFFICER FATALLY INJURED. ACCIDENT IN NORTH AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, April 13. As the result of a jeep in which they were travelling skidding in loose metal and capsizing over a bank yesterday afternoon, Flying Officer St. Aubyn Murray, widower, aged 55, received injuries from which he died in hospital early this morning. Mr Frederick Wadley, of Eastbourne, Wellington, had several ribs broken and was also taken to hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory. Three other occupants of the jeep escaped injury.
