GERMAN BOAST

STRENGTH OF WEST WALL FROM DENMARK TO SPAIN. AS BARRIER TO INVASION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, April 13. “The Atlantic west wall from the Franco-Spanish frontier to the Ger-man-Danish border has been almost completed, and every day is being utilised to improve the bastion,” declared a German war reporter over the Berlin radio. He added that rivers and canals were full of ships and barges carrying materials and munitions and that everything was superbly camouflaged. Soldiers and members of the Todt organisation were working shoulder to shoulder, with rifle and spade, and the defences along the Avhole coast had become incomparably stronger since the British ’’invasion test” at Dieppe. Men of many nationalities were working on the Atlantic wall, only the foremen being Germans.. “If the British risk an invasion we are ready with the greatest defence wall :'n history,” concluded the reporter.
