FEATHERSTON
DANCE AT TOWN HALL POPULAR GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the popular weekly dance held in the Town Hall on Saturday night there was a very large attendance. Mrs Moran’s Orchestra supplied the music. Extras were played by Misses G. Fraser, M. Tocker and N. Tocker. Mr Peter Habib was M.C. A competition was won by Mr R. W. Holland. Mrs Alexander artistically decorated the stage and supper tables. The supper was provided by the Junior Patriotic Committee. Personal items. Mrs H. R. Bloxam has returned from a holiday spent in New Plymouth. _ Mr and Mrs lan Carlyon, Muritai, were visitors to Featherston during the weekend. Golf Club. Owing to the state of the links the Featherston Golf Club will not open the season until April 17. COSY THEATRE “THE MEN IN HER LIFE.” The programme on Wednesday night will be headed by the great screen play, “The Men in Her Life,” starring Conrad Veidt, Loretta Young, Dean Jagger and Otto Kruger.
