CRICKET
The cricket match between the New Zealand Army and Air Force teams, played at Christchurch was won by the former. In the second innings of the Air Force Newman Hoar, of Masterton, played a dashing innings for 66, being particularly severe on the crack New Zealand bowler, Pritchard.
