ATHLETIC SPORTS LOCAL SCHOOL RESULTS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The secondary department of the Eketahuna District High School held its annual athletic sports recently, the results being as follows: — Senior champion: Verna Cooper and Jack Powell. Junior, O. Curtis and J. Houlbrooke 1. The sports were very capably carried out by Miss W. Towgood, relieving secondary assistant. The school staff desire to thank Mr Len Eagle for valuable assistance with the sports and Miss Anderson for allowing the children to use a race track on the estate. Two more sets of literature books have been donated to the Eketahuna School secondary department library, by Mrs L. Sigvertsen and Miss E. O’Donnell.
