OBITUARY

MR J. G. T. CLARK. The death occurred yesterday of Mr John George Thomas Clark, of 6 Makora Road, Masterton, at the age of 51 years. The late Mr Clark, who had previously resided at the Upper Hutt, had been in the Wairarapa district for the past 15 months. He was a carrier by occupation and had been an invalid for the past eleven years. He saw service in the 1914-18 war with the New Zealand Fifth Battery. A widow, three sons and two daughters are left to mourn their loss. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving St. Patrick’s Church, following Requiem Mass at 9 a.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
