CATTLE FAIR

PRICES UP TO EXPECTATIONS. The Masterton cattle fair, which was held at the saleyards, Colombo Road, this afternoon, opened on a firm note. There was a large attendance of buyers who showed discrimination for better sorts. Opening prices were up to expectations. The sale commenced with two and a half years old P.A. steers, which realised prices ranging from £7 10s to £9 10s, the latter price being paid for a specially good pen.
