CRICKET
OLD TIMERS’ MATCH. IN AID OF PATRIOTIC FUNDS. An old timers’ cricket match, Masterton v. South Wairarapa, will be played on the Park Oval, Mastertori, on Saturday afternoon, in aid of the Patriotic Funds. The following teams have been selected to play:— Masterton: T. Jordan, Ted Perry, J. Berney, A. Torrance, E. L. Nicholson, E. Williams, P. Watts, H. Preston, A. Dixon, F. Knowles, S'. Jenkins, F. Dixon, B. Iveson, W. Hoar, N. Whiteman, A. McKenzie, E. McCord. South Wairarapa: D. C. Collins, D. H. S. Riddiford, L. McKenna, J. C. Bidwill, J. Anderson, R. Cundy, L. Smart, J. Donald, E. Phelps, W. Andrews, S. Brice, R. Workman, H. J. McKenzie, B. Trapp, Q. Donald, G. Vincent, G. Scrimegour, G. Wilby. Players who are unable to take part in the match are requested to communicate with Mr D. C. Collins (for the South team) and with telephone 1052 in connection with the Masterton team.
