» ON IMPORTANT BRIDGES IN BURMA AMERICAN AND R.A.F. BOMBING. ATTACKS ON AIRFIELDS & RAILWAYS. LONDON, March 26. ■United States bombers over Burma made another attack on a bridge linking Mandalay and Rangoon. Direct hits were scored on the approaches. This means that the bridge will be put out of action for some time to come. Other attacks were- made on a bridge near Mandalaay, on railway yards and an important Japanese airbase. The R.A.F. followed up these attacks by bombing the airfield again yesterday. They also raided railway yards in Central Burma. Not a single Allied plane was lost in these operations. .
