JOHN BULL CALLING
According to a report from the Patriotic Committee one of the contributions received yesterday came from a. lady who is an invalid in the public hospital. For some weeks this lady has been mending socks and the proceeds from this work were all handed in to John Bull to help to swell the funds for our boys. The committee is very grateful for all the help it is receiving, but it still has a long way to go.
