The winners were Mrs "Mellish and Mrs Chisholm. competition was won by Mrs Day. The gathering was a most successful one. Personal Items. Mrs Jean Donald has returned' from a visit to Auckland where sheYyas the guest of Mrs Fletcher. Mrs J. A. Card, Flatspur, who had been the guest of Mr J. W. Card, has returned home. COSY THEATRE “AFFECTONATELY YOURS.” There will be two big features tomorrow night—“ Affectionately Yours,” an excellent comedy featuring Merle Oberon and Dennis Morgan, and “Singapore Woman,” a splendid drama, starring Brenda Marshall and Virginia Field.
