Widespread rioting has broken out in Greece, following rumours that the Germans are preparing a decree for general civil mobilisation, reports the Istanbul correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph.” Students in Athens organised protest marches. Workmen organised a largescale strike. The re-action was so overwhelming that the Germans have decided not to proceed with the mobilisaion.
