RED CROSS SOCIETY ENJOYABLE CARD PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special,) A very enjoyable flag 500 party was held in the Anglican Hall on Saturday night, when Mr L. C. Christie controlled the games. Mr M. Priest (president) presented the prizes to the following winners: — Ladies: Mrs F. C. Turnor and Miss Joyce Edwards. Men: Mr W. Olsen and Mr A. Stewart. Miss Joyce Edwards Avon the wandering parcel. The Red Cross Committee served ( supper. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs A. H. Herbert and Mr and Mrs M. R. Herbert have returned home after having visited Taupo. Mrs Preston, Wellington, who had been, on a visit to her sister, Mrs F. Cowlam, has returned home. Miss Jamieson, Masterton, is visiting her aunt, Mrs W. Jones, Alfredton Road. Miss Margaret Brittain, Central Road, spent the weekend in Masterton.
