Results:— Kairanga Hurdles, 1% miles: 1, _ Native Chief, 10.12 (Temperton), 1; 2, Vitement, 10.7 (Stevens), 2; 4, Cuicinier, 10.1 (P. Brady), 3. All started. Won by four, lengths; six. Time, 3.11 1-5.
