BV NORWEGIAN NAVAL FORCE TWO AXIS SUPPLY SHIPS DESTROYED IN FIORD. SHORE BATTERIES SUCCESSFULLY DEFIED. , LONDON, March 17. The British Admiralty reports a daring’ exploit by light naval craft manned by members of the Royal Norwegian Navy. The force penetrated a Norwegian fiord, 90 miles north of Bergen and torpedoed two German supply ships. One of these, officially described as large, broke into two and sank immediately. The other, a medium-sized ship, burst into flames and later was seen to go down. Shore batteries opened up on the naval forces but these suffered no casualties.
