PETAIN QUITE WELL
ACCORDING TO BERLIN RADIO. RUMOUR OF STROKE DENIED. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, March 14. Quoting a Vichy message, the Berlin radio denied that Marshal Petain had suffered a stroke. “Marshal Petain today,” it stated, “watched the changing of the guard from a balcony of the Hotel du Pac in Vichy. He looked unusually well and his physician slates Marshal Petain's health is good.” ■
