Mr lan M. Matheson, Wellington, who is visiting England on a Government supply mission, was most impressed by the “very favourable atmosphere” regarding New Zealand, a special correspondent in London reports. He found everywhere a desire to be as helpful as a difficult position will allow. Mr Matheson visited Washington en route to Britain, and had a conference with the New Zealand Minister to Washington, Mr Nash. He will make further contacts in America while returning to the Dominion. Mr Matheson intends to visit Northern Ireland before leaving Britain, and also the Hebrides, to visit the country of his ancestors.
