GLOOMY WARNINGS
GIVEN BY TOKIO RADIO. “WAR SITUATION SERIOUS BEYOND EXPRESSION.” (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) NEW YORK, March 12. Office of War Information monitors report that the Tokio radio has begun a campaign to impress on the Japanese the seriousness of the war situation. Ishikawa, head of the Youth Movement, said the war situation was serious beyond expression in any human language. This year would decide Japan’s fate. Zenzo Naomi, a newspaper editor, gloomily warned listeners: “Whether we get through 1943 is very important.”
