Accountancy Profession.
An official review of recent meetings of the New Zealand Society of Accountants emphasises the strong attitude against any lowering of the educational standard. There is a willingness to make reasonable concessions in regard to students who have joined the Armed Forces, but not in a manner which would weaken their professional qualifications for service to the community, either as public accountants or as registered accountants in the employ of private firms, Government Departments or local bodies.
